Cloudless Sentinel-2
A provider-specific name for a cloud-reduced Sentinel-2-like output time series.
Also known as: cloud-free Sentinel-2, cloudless sentinel2
Expanded definition
Some services offer “cloudless” or “cloud-free” Sentinel-2-like products that aim to reduce missing data caused by clouds and haze.
This label is not a formal remote sensing standard. What matters is the method (masking, compositing, gap filling, fusion), whether outputs preserve temporal integrity, and how uncertainty is communicated.
If you need a general definition of the concept, see: Gap Filling, Cloud Mask, Data Fusion, and Temporal Integrity.

Gap Filling
Gap filling estimates missing values in time series caused by clouds, shadows, or data dropouts.
Data Fusion
Data fusion combines multiple data sources or sensors to create a more complete or consistent product.
Temporal Integrity
Temporal integrity means an output for a given date is built only from information available on or before that date.
Cloud Mask
A cloud mask labels pixels likely affected by clouds so they can be excluded or handled differently.
