Cadence
Cadence is how often a processed product is delivered, which can differ from sensor revisit time.
Also known as: delivery cadence, update frequency
Expanded definition
Cadence describes the delivery rhythm of a product, for example daily updates, weekly mosaics, or a rolling 10-day composite.
Cadence can be slower than raw acquisitions because processing, quality checks, and compositing introduce delays. When users say they need “daily data,” they often mean daily cadence rather than daily raw scenes.
