Integration of the Long-Awaited Sentinel-1C
2025-06-13

ClearSKY Vision has officially integrated Sentinel-1C into its SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) data pipeline. Although the satellite launched in December 2023, it only recently began systematic image downlinking—and we are already putting it to work. With this update, ClearSKY now processes data from both operational Sentinel-1 satellites (Sentinel-1A and Sentinel-1C), re-establishing dual-satellite SAR coverage after the loss of Sentinel-1B in late 2021. Sentinel-1C ensures improved revisit frequency and continuity of radar-based Earth observation, especially useful during cloudy seasons or for applications requiring consistent imaging regardless of weather.
Full Integration — Without Extra Cost
As with all other additions, Sentinel-1C has been fully integrated into our data processing workflows. This means all relevant ClearSKY
orders now automatically benefit from its increased SAR data coverage. Whether it's forestry, agriculture, or infrastructure monitoring,
the improved revisit time strengthens our ability to deliver reliable, hyper-updated, timely insights.
Importantly, this update comes at no extra cost to our customers. Just like our earlier Sentinel-2C integration, we ensure all available
data is used transparently to improve service quality — without increasing complexity or pricing.
